An excerpt from the Moleskine

This is what I’ve wanted
for a very long time.  Something

that I can finally write about.

Everyone keeps to themselves,
and it’s always so much trouble,
being quiet and watching.

Watching and not fixing.
Watching and learning.

Knowing someone, but knowing they
will never give you the benefit
of true satisfaction.

So, knowing without compensation
help without approval
fixing without requirement

It is a tedious kind of punishment.

orz Why?

Someone just really doesn’t want me to be a Jane Austen fan.

// EDIT: Oh, yeah.  Almost forgot to add, but I finished re-watching all of H&C and H&C II, including the L and F bonus episodes. :3

“Watch your pride: it leads to idolatry; it results in apostasy.”

I don’t think I’ve loved another sermon more in a long while.

“… God uses frank words for deplorable sin so we will feel its sickness without anesthesia.”

Mark Driscoll, again, puts it best.

You’re a little obsessed, she said.

Treasure-loving kin, a specialty!

Sounds for sale, exquisite noises

free of cracks and worn out bruises

a commendable act: sharing these gifts.

Pick what’s suited to your liking.
